I have been coming to Brenda for massage monthly for several years. Brenda always inquires about how I am feeling so that she can address specific parts of my body to relieve tension or assist the healing of injury. She has a methodical approach that begins with reflexology of the soles of my feet, which is a pleasant way to begin. I generally come in with tension in my shoulders and arms, and she is usually more aware after the massage of how much tension I was carrying than I was. She is very gentle yet thorough in working on tense muscles, and if there is any discomfort it is an indication of how tense my muscles are, not Brenda being rough or kneading excessively. Brenda is tuned in to what she is finding as the massage proceeds, and attentive with applying healing techniques, sometimes inquiring if her technique is too aggressive. I know and trust Brenda’s techniques to relax me and will continue to be a client for years to come. Brenda is amazingly skilled! She takes time to learn how you are feeling before and after the massage. Her table is kept warm and comfortable. I was in a lot of pain and my upper back has been spasming for several days. I went to my chiropractor and she helped but I still had lingering pain. I liked having an initial conversation with Ms Brenda before the massage, it was a good way to introduce ourselves and understand her method. I normally dislike massage oils with strong smells, but the lotion Ms Brenda makes and uses was wonderful, very lightly scented and refreshing. The massage was excellent, it was very peaceful and I didn’t have any discomfort the next day. I loved her tea with brown sugar she’d offered. It was a lovely way to finish the session.

Hi, I am a Precision machinist still working and operating a small business at age 68. Lifting heavy tooling and pushing carts full of parts around the shop is a standard daily practice which never seemed so strenuous until a few years ago. I found myself really aching after a long day.

Best hot stone massage I’ve ever had. Brenda has collected stones from beaches all over the world. She takes great care in every detail of your visit and is simply a wonderful person. After the massage she brews a cup of tea for you to transition back into the hectic outside world. Bring a little extra money and buy her home made tea blend to take home. You will be glad you did.

Brenda Armstrong uses a unique monitoring system where we can hear the body responding to the massage therapy. She is sensitive to my level of comfort with the therapy and doesn’t try to apply more pressure than is needed to release muscle tension.
Her therapy relieved me and assisted healing of arm issues I had suffered for more than a year before, and I was completely healed of that injury in just a few visits.
Regular monthly visits are pleasant “tune-ups” for relieving my muscles of all of the stress my body has absorbed through physical activity and emotional distress.

In lifting and moving large 25-pound objects and using a 3-pound orbital sander for five hours, I re-injured the tendons in both of my forearms and the arthritic joints in my hands.
This caused pain, inflammation and stiffness in both hands but more severely in my primary hand. I did not even feel like brushing my teeth because of the pain.
I applied two coats of this gel. Three minutes later, all the symptoms had subsided.

I enjoyed Brenda’s session. The theory discussion re stress was interesting. I was hoping we could have spent a bit longer on that part. When she mentioned foot massage, I sensed an uptight reaction but that was soon overcome. She has and brings a calming, quiet, relaxed spirit to the sessions. On the whole, most enjoyable, relaxing and for me a whole new experience.

I have known Brenda Armstrong for some years now. This highly intelligent lady tutored me for the Ontario Department of Health examination for my (massage therapy) registration. The high marks I received in this examination were in large part due to Brenda’s teaching. Brenda possesses the skills which make her a ‘natural’ in the teaching field.
Brenda also has a very high reputation as a very capable and efficient therapist who is sincerely dedicated to helping people.
I had severe disabling pain in my lower back and figured I’d try Brenda’s massage therapy. After one 30-minute session, I was much better. The next day I awoke with no pain !
I have chronic, severe lower back problems caused by degeneration of two of my lumbar discs. Surgery has not been recommended for this, but rather an ongoing program of lifestyle control and exercise.
This condition is aggravated by stress and tension to the extent that I have difficulty walking. Because my doctor suggested an ongoing program of massage therapy, I began seeing Brenda Armstrong for weekly massage therapy eight months ago.
There has been significant improvement in my physical wellbeing since this program began. Not only does the therapy reduce stress and tension, it also improves my flexibility and overall muscle tone. I have had almost no back pain or difficulty walking since I entered therapy.

As a runner and squash player, I have seen many of my friends sustain serious injury while participating in these sports. My visits to Miss Armstrong help prevent such injuries because of her excellent techniques for stretching and massaging my muscles and joints. Similarly, muscle aches such as a stiff neck or sore feet can be alleviated totally during one of her massage sessions.
