Stop Asking the Wrong Question

The 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle I’ve been working on during our lockdown holds the promise of a beautiful picture.  It entices and frustrates.  It tests my ability to focus and broaden my vision.

I can spend days searching for a particular piece, thinking there must be pieces missing…..only to discover it was, to quote my mother “right under my nose”.  I overlooked it multiple times because I wasn’t looking at it the right way.

How often, I wonder, do we overlook an available solution to a problem because we’re not asking the right questions?
